PRIVACY · ON-DEVICE ANALYSIS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 8, 2026

1. About Facezumi

Facezumi is an independently operated online service that provides browser-based facial analysis tools.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit Facezumi and use its features.

For privacy questions or requests, contact:

Email: [email protected]

Facezumi is operated by an individual on a personal basis. The contact email above is the public contact address for this service.

2. Photos and On-Device Facial Analysis

Facezumi is designed to process facial photographs locally in your web browser.

When you select a photograph:

  • Your browser reads the selected image using browser-based file handling.
  • Facial detection and landmark processing are performed locally using MediaPipe.
  • Facial landmarks and geometric measurements are calculated in your browser.
  • The resulting measurements are used to display the available analysis tools and results.

For the current browser-based analysis workflow, your original photograph, facial landmarks and analysis results are not uploaded to Facezumi's servers.

Facezumi does not use this analysis process to identify, authenticate or track individual people.

The MediaPipe resources required for processing are delivered to your browser as website resources. The analysis process does not send your photograph to MediaPipe or another external facial-analysis API.

Temporary image data may remain in browser memory while you use the website. Facezumi does not intentionally save uploaded photographs or facial-analysis results in its own persistent server-side storage.

This statement describes the current implementation. Future changes to processing or data handling will be reflected in an updated Privacy Policy.

3. Downloading and Sharing Results

You may download your analysis results to your device.

When you use your device's native sharing function, the generated result image may be passed to the application or service you select.

For example, you may choose to share an image through a messaging application or another social platform.

That transfer is initiated by you. The selected third-party application or service will handle the shared content under its own privacy policy and terms.

Facezumi does not control how third-party services process information you choose to share.

4. Technical Information and Website Logs

When you visit a website, its hosting, network delivery and security providers may automatically process certain technical information.

Depending on the services and configuration in use, this may include:

  • IP address.
  • Browser type and version.
  • Device and operating-system information.
  • Requested URLs and resources.
  • Date and time of requests.
  • Referring page information.
  • Connection, security and diagnostic information.

Facezumi uses Cloudflare infrastructure for domain, network and website services.

Cloudflare may process technical request information to deliver website content, maintain network security, prevent abuse and operate its services.

These technical records are different from the photographs and facial measurements processed locally by your browser.

We do not claim that no technical information is processed when you visit the website.

5. Cookies, Browser Storage and Analytics

Facezumi does not use cookies or browser storage to retain photographs or facial-analysis results.

The only value Facezumi itself stores in your browser is your analytics consent choice. It is kept in local storage under the key facezumi.analytics.consent.v1 and contains only the word “granted” or “denied”.

Google Analytics 4

Facezumi uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-C1GTQ8JF2W) to count page views and understand which pages are used. It is used for aggregate traffic statistics only.

The Google tag is loaded only after you choose “Accept analytics” in the consent banner. If you reject analytics, or before you make a choice, the Google tag script is not downloaded and no request is sent to Google.

When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies whose names begin with _ga and receives:

  • The page address with query strings and fragments removed.
  • The page title, the browser language setting, and general device, browser and screen information.
  • An approximate location derived from the IP address, and the referring page.

Facezumi does not send photographs, facial landmarks, analysis scores or any other content you provide to the analysis tools to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled, and the data is not used for remarketing or advertising.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer. Clearing this site's data in your browser also removes the stored choice, and you will be asked again.

Google processes this analytics data under its own terms and privacy policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy

Cloudflare or other infrastructure providers may also use technically necessary security mechanisms, cookies or similar technologies depending on the services and configuration in use.

6. Contact Emails

If you contact us at [email protected], we may process:

  • Your email address.
  • Your name, if provided.
  • The content of your message.
  • Attachments you voluntarily send.
  • The date and time of the communication.

This address uses Cloudflare Email Routing to forward incoming messages to the operator's email inbox hosted by Gmail.

Cloudflare and Google may therefore process relevant email information as part of their email delivery and hosting services.

We use correspondence to respond to questions, provide support and handle privacy requests.

We do not use the contact address to send unsolicited marketing emails.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or photographs by email unless necessary for your request.

7. Third-Party Service Providers

Facezumi relies on third-party infrastructure providers for certain services.

These currently include:

Cloudflare

Cloudflare provides domain, network, website delivery and email-routing services. It may process technical request information and email-routing metadata as part of these services.

Google / Gmail

Incoming messages to [email protected] are forwarded to a Gmail inbox. Google may process email content and associated metadata when providing its email service.

Google Privacy Policy:

Google Analytics 4

When you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 is used to count page views. The Google tag is not loaded and no analytics request is sent without your consent.

Google Analytics Privacy Policy:

These providers process information under their respective terms, privacy policies and applicable service configurations.

The current facial-analysis workflow does not send users' photographs to these providers.

8. Data Retention

Facezumi does not receive or retain user photographs, facial landmarks or analysis results through its current local-processing workflow.

Temporary image and analysis data are handled in the browser as needed to provide the service.

Technical information may be retained by infrastructure providers under their applicable policies, security practices and service configurations. We do not state a specific retention period for provider-side logs that we do not independently control.

Emails sent to [email protected] may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, handle requests and maintain relevant correspondence, subject to applicable legal requirements and email-provider practices.

9. Information Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the website and the information handled through our services.

The browser-based processing design reduces the need to transmit photographs to our servers.

However, no website, internet connection or electronic communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should also protect your own device, browser and email account.

10. International Data Processing

Because Facezumi uses third-party infrastructure and email providers, certain technical information and email communications may be processed in countries other than your country of residence.

The location and processing arrangements depend on the providers' services and configurations.

Please refer to the privacy policies of Cloudflare and Google for further information.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to personal information concerning you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of personal information.
  • Request restriction of certain processing.
  • Object to certain processing.
  • Request a copy of information where data portability rights apply.

To submit a privacy request, email:

[email protected]

Please describe your request clearly. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Because photographs and facial measurements are processed locally, Facezumi generally does not possess those materials to retrieve or delete them from its servers.

12. Children and Minors

Facezumi is not designed or directed specifically at children.

Users must comply with the minimum age and consent requirements applicable in their location.

Where required by local law, minors should use the service only with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through our contact email, please contact us so that we can review the situation.

13. External Websites and Services

Facezumi may contain links to external websites or services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of third-party websites.

Please review their policies before providing them with personal information.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services, infrastructure or legal obligations change.

The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
